The winds of change are blowing through tax, caused not least by tax authority digitalization clashing with faltering methods of running in-house tax.

The traditional focus on downstream tax compliance has been usurped by the need for tax involvement upstream to ensure ‘tax data right first time at source, a prerequisite for e-invoicing and many other tax requirements―old, new, and e-converted.

However, when it comes to tax technology and transformation (TX), upstream is hard and fundamental. In contrast, downstream is easier, but it has an incremental impact only and cannot deliver the only sure-fire route to long-term digital future-proofing―a single source of truth for tax data embedded in core source systems.

So, just how hard is fundamental TX in the context of today’s corporate pressure cooker? Click here for recorded content (from the 24 Apr webinar) and discover the truth about meaningful, end-to-end, in-house TX journeys.
